Michelin North America is proud to launch its first “returnship”program. Talent and experience are everywhere; working with MAP agency is a way for us to respond to a need from talented women who are looking for a new path into the workforce. The program is similar to an Intern/ Co-Op program, with an idea of sharpening the skills of the candidate. Amy (cf picture) will start this summer in the Finance department in Greenville, S.C. Although the “returnship” program is new to Michelin, we hope it will create opportunities for additional professionals in the community.
The phrase “returnship” was coined by Goldman Sachs in 2008 as a high-level, paid onboarding program specifically designed for experienced professionals looking to return to the workforce after an extended absence.
