KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Experience of delivery in application development and production support.
  • Responsible for a team that handles application development and prod support
  • Manager of a Scrum team practicing Agile development
  • Aware of ops terms like incidents, problem, change, etc
  • Well versed with concepts like frontend development, data base, monitoring tools and testing:
  • Exp of leading a team of 10 people at least
  • Techno and people management profile
  • Dev 70% + Ops 30%

Eg: Strong in people management, good data base management, basic frontend exp works

Looking for a candidate with strong technical foundation (DevOps/Cloud/SRE/Infrastructure)

Don’t prefer someone who only handles support teams/service manager.

• Demonstrates daily application of Agile & Lean values such as cooperation, transparency, courage and humility to promote teamwork.
• Reflects continuously on how to become more efficient, then develops and adjusts the team's standards and helps update the standards.
• Team rules
• The team collaborates and uses the best-known way of working.
• The role of the Team Leader is to:
• Help the team (IS and Business) to implement its practices to guide and support their work (Scrum, Kanban...)
• Implements good software engineering practices
• Organizes and facilitates team ceremonies
• Sharing and tracking the efficiency of teamwork
• Helps remove obstacles and involves management if necessary
• Ensures continuous improvement of the team's way of working.
• Efficient communication is in place between business and IS to build the right product.

• Team management experience, hiring, setting up goals and objectives, helping the team with career objectives, appraisal management, could be a plus, and the candidate aspires to become a people manager.
