STUDENTS

Michelin has a long history of offering students the opportunity for employment and professional training. The first apprentice class dates back to 1924 ... and this approach remains a priority!

STUDENT CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

Each year, Michelin offers internship and co-op opportunities to students to explore potential career paths. The program provides students with:

  • Collaboration on projects that contribute to the company's success.

  • Real-world experience with an international company to grow personally and professionally.

  • Exposure to our company culture and values through networking and engagement with local communities.

THE FIRST STEP IN YOUR CAREER JOURNEY

Our interns and co-ops are trusted with a professional level of responsibility, collaborating on meaningful projects while gaining a behind-the-scenes look at business in an international company.

By engaging students early in their college careers, Michelin's internship and co-op program allows students to get to know us and allows us to connect with them. In building this relationship, we share our company values and culture so that students can determine if Michelin is the right place to launch their career.

RYAN, FORMER CO-OP
"At Michelin, I get to use my engineering and analysis training to conduct a wide variety of studies and I’ve also had the personal satisfaction of participating in the implementation of several of my recommendations.”

READY, SET,GO!

Every Fall and Spring, we actively seek talent at college campuses and professional and diversity conferences across the U.S. We encourage you to stop by and learn more about Michelin and the career opportunities available. Even if we don’t have an opportunity to meet you in person, we still encourage you to create a profile and upload your resume for consideration in the program. Apply now.

All applicants must apply online. Applications are evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Enrolled as a full-time college student

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Permanent legal right-to-work in the U.S. (will not require immigration sponsorship)

We then consider past work history, rigor of academic coursework, involvement with campus and community organizations, and demonstrated leadership and teamwork. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in an interview either by phone or video. Selected students will receive an offer for employment contingent on the results of a drug-screen, background check, work status, and academic standing in accordance with our program’s requirements.

If you are an international student studying in the U.S., please consider searching for job opportunities on Michelin's recruitment website by selecting the appropriate country.
