Community Engagement
Michelin is committed to living in harmony with local communities throughout North America to create a better way forward through increased mobility and sustainability.
Socially responsible and community focused
Michelin
aims to be one of the most innovative, responsible and high-performing companies worldwide. In all places where we operate, Michelin is actively involved in the local communities. 100% of Michelin North America's sites offer community engagement programs where Michelin and its employees dedicate time and resources to build vibrant and equitable communities.

Michelin Challenge Education
provides much-needed human capital to public Title 1 elementary schools in the forms of tutors, mentors, and lunch buddies that positively impact the lives of disadvantaged children. Since its launch in 2009, the program is part of 23 schools in North America where more than 500 employee volunteers visit weekly. Michelin had donated more than 150,000 books to local elementary school students over the past ten years.
Michelin Corporate Foundation
The Michelin Corporate Foundation
was created in January 2014 as an initiative of Mr. Jean-Dominique Senard, president of the Michelin Group. In line with the commitments and values of the Group, The Foundation operates in five key areas: sustainable mobility, education and community, protecting the environment, sport and health, and heritage and the arts. The activities of the Foundation follow a signature theme of "Helping people move forward," and seek to promote long-term projects in all countries where Michelin is present.
