Join Michelin as Tactical Supply Planner for Automotive Regional Brands (ARB) Business Line at Michelin Hungaria KFT!

Who we are? Automotive Regional Brand (ARB) Business Line belongs to Michelin Group. We are in charge of Kleber, BFGoodrich, Taurus and Kormoran Tyres Brands for passenger cars and light trucks in Europe and Uniroyal in North America.

We are located in Budapest and operating worldwide.

Tasks:

Tactical capacities planner
• Manages the capacity of a number of site activities from an MO to the selected aggregate configuration. As such, he/she analyses the monthly demand applied to his/her perimeter and formulates response solutions, calling on sites and colleagues to leverage their responsiveness or bridges/passerelles changes;
• Organizes the launch of new products on the activities within his/her scope in connection with new product projects. Orders or causes the order of the necessary molds;
• Analyses the load-capacity balance of the MO on a monthly basis, proposes scenarios based on the sourcing of products and through the use of reactivity levers and the pre-built stock to guarantee service of the tactical demand;
• Hosts a monthly exchange with the site in order to secure the tactical horizon (capacity, stock, phase-in, molds, etc.) and contributes to the preparation of the supply review;
• Work out solutions on tactical&strategical horizon to balance production between internal and Off take;
• Arbitrate the demand&production to be produced within the production planning horizon to fit the available capacities&commercial inputs.

Off Take responsible

• Ability to execute tasks on a operative and tactical level 
• Makes sure that demand provided to Off taker fits capacity;
• Follows up the evaluation of demand;

• Provides annual demand forecast to the offtaker;
• Challenges off taker on availability;
• Analysis demand vs capacity and proposes mold purchase in case of necessity;
• Organises monthly exchanges with the off taker, contributes to the meetings organized in each semester, deploys the decisions taken;
• Assures phase-in and phase out management;
• Makes sure that production information is well received from Off Taker.

Supply planning and M2O (make to order) commitment
• Optimizes the supply plans on the short term horizon (4 months) to satisfy the order portfolio and the sales plan, respecting the targeted inventories, the priorities and the arbitrations decided for a product family and for one or several markets;
• Guarantees the information on product availability;
• Manages the Phase In of products following the conditions validated at the X2 milestone. Act as first responder for the actions related to the Phase Out of products;
• Updates the parameters of the stock assignation in AX and regularly check their pertinence.

Requirements:

  • Studies in economics / supply chain;
  • English language knowledge on advanced level;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Analytical thinker;
  • Open, positive, self-confident personality;
  • Proactive attitude;
  • High interest in digital ;
  • International mindset;
  • Ability to execute tasks on an operative level ;
  • Ability to autonomous professional work right after the onboarding period;
  • Experience in similar role.
