MISSION

For the investments of his/her perimeter is guarantor of the delivery at the best TCO of the civil engineering installations :

• Takes into account, challenges and robustifies the input data for its studies (machine requirements, customer needs);
• Realize and / or pilot and receive studies related to his field;
• Participate and / or pilot the realization, the installation, the commissioning and the reception of the installations of his domain in the respect of the performances : quality, cost and delivery time.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

• Ensures the optimization of the specifications by challenging the needs;
• Conducts feasibility studies, and delivers an estimate, a schedule, a technical description, and a risk analysis;
• Prepare BOQ and Engineer Estimate accordance local standards;
• Research and select a supplier for the studies and construction phases;
• Delivers a Basic Design file (detailed design);
• Performs or verifies assumptions, sizing calculations, and plans;
• Challenge the proposed solutions (TCO) and ensures design during technical reviews;
• Transmits a quotation, a consolidated schedule, and an updated risk analysis;
• Delivers a building and its utilities in compliance with the costs, time, and quality commitments;
• Check the conformity of the execution plans to the specifications, évaluates performance gaps; manages the changes;
• Participates in the monitoring and safety of the workplace;
• Preparation, planning, and monitoring of the commissioning and reception of equipment and works done;
• Prepares the end-of-affair balance sheet and capitalizes on the affair. Archive all documents;
• Organize awareness programs for contract members of his/her domain;
• Hot work Permit issuing and follow-up the actions, Height work Permit Issuing, Conduct PJA – Pre-job Analysis.

​PROJECT COMPLETION AND INVOICING

• After the completion of each project, check and compare the final bill with the actual work done and proceed payment process after having relevant signatures using SAP;
• Responsible for conducting SAP-related activities for the CAPEX nature projects, proceed with SAP-related activities for the Mixing operation;
• Responsible for conducting civil-related projects at the Waste Management Center (WMC), follow and adhere to QS (Quantity Survey) functions while preparing BOQ;
• Responsible for updating and creating plant layout with CAD Drawings.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or any other equivalent qualification;
• Candidates who possess professional qualification from NDT & IET in Civil Engineering also encouraged to apply;
• Preferably with 2 or more years of work experience in a similar job role;
• Skill of Solid works and MS projects will be added advantages.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala;
