KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
•

• The risk prevention Plan is applied, safety requirements are taken into account (LOTOTO, HV / LV Power distribution system, instructions, safety during intervention, compliance of work, compliance of equipment under the scope
• Ensure machine availability, reliability & performance related to substations, power distribution systems machines and applications in plant.
• Consult and attend operational maintenance activities and breakdowns through root cause analyzing, corrective action development and execution to avoid recurring problems related to electrical engineering.
• Ensure lower cost of maintenance through cost effective solution in breakdown, corrective and preventive maintenance, process improvement and ensure for energy efficiency in each area.
• Prepare Machine technical documentation and associated instructions related machineries (safety, quality, work procedures) in his perimeter and update the CMMS system.   
• Carry out and apply maintenance instructions and operational procedures defined in setting, commissioning, adjustment, calibration, activities related to machine maintenance.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts (PDR list), equipment and updated relevant data in SAP system
• Carryout/Support OPEX/CAPEX projects relevant to his perimeter.
• Drive maintenance related initiatives (RCM, CMMS, FMEA etc) and ensure the sustainability.
• Develop maintenance skills (tutoring, coaching, training materials, assistive devices for maintenance, 'one-point lessons') of technicians.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics or any other equivalent qualification. 
• Minimum 6 years’ years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing organization. 
• Experience in high-voltage operating devices & safety protocols. 
• Experience in Electrical distribution system designing & maintenance is required. 
• Experience in Project management including Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting will be an added advantage. 

• Excellent communication skills in both English & Sinhala and good interpersonal relationship skills.
