Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and accelerate the success of progress initiatives by applying the tools, methods, and approach of the Michelin Way.
  • Enhance entity performance by implementing progress initiatives and applying the fundamentals of Lean/Six Sigma and Progress Post Methodology.
  • Assist in shaping the Shop Vision, Strategic & Annual Plans, and Progress Roadmap.
  • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of progress basics including TPUs, TRO/Activity Monitoring, Workforce/Headcount Management, Machine Cycle, and Capacities.
  • Keep activity and time records up to date and establish activity follow-up tools.
  • Perform necessary headcount and machine calculations while maintaining control over capacities.
  • Evaluate changes to standards and assess their impact on unit times, ergonomics, workforce, capacities, and cost.
  • Contribute to the progress network by sharing effective strategies and valuable insights gained from experience.
  • Drive effective change management by ensuring key change players are committed to implementing progress initiatives.
  • Foster the development of operational teams' long-term autonomy to manage their progress initiatives.
  • Provide support to the MDP at the N2 Level as per the site structure and organization.
  • Continuously contribute to progress year-on-year aligned with the company's initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct various analyses to gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned areas/domains, including Process Diagnostics and Benchmarking.
  • Validate important performance metrics by conducting observations and upholding standards.
  • Oversee Cycle Times for the Prep/Extrusion Processes (Extruders, MGMs, uZeds) through daily management and progress planning.
  • Manage the Prep/Extrusion TRSp system and all related activities, ensuring performance management is effectively supported.
  • Handle the Site CMA/CMT Model and Material Flow Plan (GUI-167), including management of WIP, Packaging/Bobbins, and Storage.
