• Base salary based on experience, starting annual salary for this position – based on experience, starting annual salary for intermediate position $73,040 and senior position $94,800 plus bonus

Your team:

Working with both local and global teams, the members of the Communication team work to bring to life the topics of interest that will thrill both corporate and manufacturing site employees. Playing an integral role in the communications planning and execution, the Montreal team is able to see first-hand the impact and spin-offs of the communication initiatives and actions it implements.

Your role:

Join Michelin as an Internal Communication Manager and lead the communication strategy for the Beyond Road and Urban Transportation Business Lines. You’ll drive employee engagement, foster effective communication, and support key initiatives to align with Michelin's global objectives at the Montreal corporate site.

We need you to:

• Develop, oversee and execute the strategic communication plan to align with business line and Michelin Group goals.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to create innovative communication strategies that drive engagement.
• Promote employee engagement by crafting meaningful content that nurtures a positive work culture.
• Advise leadership on effective communication practices to improve team engagement.
• Manage sensitive and crisis communication, providing timely responses and safeguarding the company’s reputation.
• Lead the planning and execution of internal events, ensuring clear messaging and successful delivery.
• Lead digital and multimedia communication projects, enhancing engagement across platforms.

What do you need to possess for being successful?

• You have bachelor’s degree in business communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a similar communication field of study. 
• You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), with the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• You have a minimum of 3 years experience for the intermediate position and 5 years for the senior position in a communications role.  
• You have strong written and verbal communication and good listening skills.
• You have the ability to build relationships and the confidence to ask questions and challenge the status quo.
• You are well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You have change management experience and emotional intelligence/ability to use emotional information to guide thinking and understand motivation.
• You are occasionally available to visit our colleagues in USA and Europe.
