This opportunity is in our American Synthetic Rubber Company (ASRC) Chemical Plant in Louisville, KY. MISSION:

Layout:  
•    Define the different flow components of the production systems.
•    Define the different layout components for the industry:
- Infrastructure organizations and utilities on the site
- Organization of the workshops, in relation to flow studies (links between workshops and activities)
- Organization of equipment and necessary functions for the operation of each workshop.

Document Control:
•    Responsible for the correct and accurate storage, retrieval and communication of all engineering technical records and documentation within the site registry. The primary focus of the role is to ensure all technical records are registered, and stored efficiently. The accurate retrieval of such documentation is a key requirement. In addition to managing the technical records, the Document Controller will be responsible for issuing and receiving all documentation from the engineering and Capital Project Teams, as well as third parties and vendors.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Layout :
•    Manage the Site’s and each Shop’s layout drawings , participating in every MOC to align with the change.

Document Control:
•    Responsible for the accurate storage and retrieval of all engineering technical records and cGMP forms, certificates, and paper records
•    Manage the Engineering registry to allow accurate and easy retrieval of information for the Engineering and Capital Projects Team, with the ability to locate information in a timely and accurate manner
•    Manage a site electronic document management system
•    Reproduction of information into both printed and electronic format for communication to the Engineering team, Site Leadership Team, or third party contractors
•    Issue all transmittal's to 3rd parties, receiving and collating all project correspondences and communication from contractors and vendors to the Engineering and Capital Project Teams

REQUIREMENTS:
•    Mechanical Engineering degree preferred, with  3-5 years’ experience in an industrial environment
•    Proficient at Auto CAD (2D / 3D drawings)
•    Good knowledge and experience with Document Management
•    Basic Electrical knowledge is a plus
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels of a manufacturing environment
