Your role:

As part of the Advanced Formulation Development Department Manager's team, the successful candidate will contribute to developing, adapting and industrializing physical or chemical measurement methods in the materials field.

Our team at the Michelin Magog laboratory employs innovative and progressive methods and can count on a team of dedicated experts.

We need you for:

  • Gather requests and requirements from internal customers (engineering team, plants, etc.);
  • Lead studies to improve or develop methods or tools, and plan the acquisition of new machines if required;
  • Define and conduct a test plan and provide reliable measurement results via a report or analysis report;
  • Develop new measurement processes and provide associated technical support by writing protocols;
  • Create new experimental or modeling methods and support their approval;
  • Solve ambitious technical problems, provide new expertise or knowledge;
  • Share knowledge with colleagues so that they can use the methods and tools at their disposal.

What do you need to possess for being successful:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related fields;
  • You have 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar role;
  • You are comfortable working in a bilingual environment (French and English), so that you can communicate both orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners;
  • You are familiar with the use of analytical measurements (dynamic measurement, microscopic analysis...), an asset;
  • You are a frequent user of the Office suite;
  • You're a team player and collaborator;
  • You have the ability to solve problems using a structured methodology;
  • You are recognized for your thoroughness and attention to detail.
