Michelin has an immediate opening for a Site and Change Communication Manager at one of our facilities who defines the communication plans of the site(s), guarantees the performance of its deployment, and manages the risks and the overall consistency of the communication.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the development, creation, and implementation of a communication plan to ensure effective and efficient translation of strategies into engaging communications assets.
  • Develop managerial communication tools and advise management on how to engage their teams, including equipping plant leaders to improve their communication and team engagement.
  • Plan and implement communication events for the site and community within time, costs, and other objectives.
  • Lead visual/multimedia/digital projects and coordinates across departments and delivers final products.
  • Employ crisis principles to classify potential or current site crises and use crisis communication tools to handle crises of varying complexity with the support of Michelin Public Relations.
  • Monitor communication performance/feedback and internal company social media to identify issues/ opportunities and implements the necessary actions to improve brand equity and engagement.

What You Will Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations, or a similar communication field of study is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a communications role is required. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
  • Success in coordinating and leading multiple communications projects at one time.
  • Emotional intelligence/ability to use emotional information to understand motivation and influence communications design.
  • Confidence and skills to ask questions, challenge leadership, and create strong relationships with managers, employees, suppliers, and the community.
  • Organizational change experience that includes identifying performance measurement criteria and monitoring the impact of the change communication.
