Site Energy Performance Manager (Experienced Professional)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Maintain a roadmap and strategic improvement plan for energy, CO2, and water performance, which is aligned with the Group's objectives and ambitions. Ensure that it is updated annually, and the status is routinely presented to the site management team.
  • Lead the various business units of the site to improve water and energy consumption.
  • Animate progress involving cross-functional teams of all employees (operators, maintenance, quality technicians, and managers) through steering groups, application of Michelin Manufacturing Way, and awareness campaigns.
  • Lead and participate in energy diagnostics, evaluating efficiency of the production, distribution, and use of fluids to identify opportunities to drive progress on energy consumption and costs both at the site and in support of other sites in the timezone.
  • Contribute to the establishment of consumption standards within each business unit.
  • Ensure the energy and environmental indicators are analyzed and reliable.
  • Communicate the site energy performance within and beyond the site.
  • Collaborate with the business units, buyers, and energy partners to optimize energy and water-related contracts (supply, transformation, maintenance, water treatment, etc.).


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • B.S. degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field, Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of heat transfer, separation unit operations and mass/energy balances.
  • Attention to detail, data accuracy, and strong skills to analyze and draw conclusions from datasets.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office® Suite and ability to become proficient in internal software systems.
