MISSION :

• For industrial investment projects within its scope, provides the equipment needed to achieve the project objectives at the best performance / cost ratio, using the standards.
• During process RFQ phase (request for quotation), manage technical relationship with suppliers in order to get the most competive price following the best practices of its business (Michelin specifications, internal and external standards, quality system, capitalization, archiving) in collaboration with all the relevant professions (Affair leader, equipment referent, buyer...)
• Lead equipement contruction to guarantee safety, quality, delivery time and change order management.
• Manage local suppliers panel with purchasing team regarding development, evaluation, audit, improvement.
• THIS JOB POSITION REQUIRED DOMESTIC TRAVEL 70% OF THE TIME

KEY EXPECTED RESULTS

• Equipment “dossier” technical analysis completed in order to detect and identify potential issues on drawings.
• Feedback equipment referent on dossier Non Conformity using Quality System approach and get updates.
• Contribute to RFQ package preparation following SG working methods.
• Support supplier technical clarification to ensure best quality of quotations.
• Challenge design and take initiative in case of unclear requirement on datas.
• Supervise safety in supplier workshop through implementation of prevention plan on Michelin area.
• Manage supplier quality following equipment verification protocol (industrial component procurement as per bill of material, critical parts verification sheet, assembly checking, I/O tests, platform tests, NC treatment, packaging)
• Guarantee equipment delivery as per project planning.
• Support and challenge evolution request and change order management process.
• Organize the reporting on a timely basis to partners.
• Support partners after delivery for NC treatment, problem root cause analysis.
• Support supplier competency improvement plan.
