We have an immediate opening for a bilingual English/French-speaking Customer Account Specialist responsible for handling the end-to-end operational relationship with our valued customers and partners. This includes forecasting, order and logistic execution, accounts receivable, and handling customer requests.

What will you do

Short-term forecasting:

  • Capture customers short-term forecast requirements
  • Propose short-term sales forecasts, based on the analysis of customer elements
  • Alert the appropriate parties of major variations in requirements/forecasts.

Manage Order & delivery:

  • Capture, records and commits customer orders according to customer needs, agreement and defined service level
  • Propose product alternatives should a phase-out or shortage occur
  • Coordinate and optimize the deliveries based on customer/partner requirements

Manage the advanced stocks:

  • Have the quantities required delivered in the shipping facility to ensure supply is delivered timely for the client
  • Detect stock variance and implement corrective actions

Organize transport:

  • Handle journey tracking and prepare relevant documentation, including necessary documents for the invoicing and customs operations to proceed in an accurate manner

Monitor Execution:

  • Handle customer orders portfolio and monitor execution; inform and follow up with customers
  • Liaise with appropriate partners to ensure timely deliveries and commitment to service
  • Proactively alert customer in case of any event, delay or failure regarding the service commitment and engage in the search for a solution to the customer
  • Manually plan the non-automated orders/loads issued, in accordance with customer commitments
  • Apply corrective actions in the relevant applications

Manage Request:

Capture all customer’s requests & claims (physical, value, quality)

Analyze and provide issue resolution or appropriate answer, including

  • Handling non –invoicing alerts or invoicing rejections
  • Reconcile customer disputes associated with claims and past due reconciliation
  • Contact, follow up and keep a tight loop with customer
  • Perform root cause analysis and implements corrective actions to eliminate reoccurrences.
  • Share recurring problems with the relevant internal partner(s) in order to find solutions

Apply and improve work methods:

  • Apply standards and procedures set by the entity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance work methods and customer experience

What will you bring

Proficiency in French - written and verbal

4 year degree or equivalent experience

Previous customer service, accounts receivable, supply chain, or logistics experience is a plus

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with a consistent track record of relationship building with customers and internal business partners with a servant leadership mentality

An ability to discern varying customer and internal partner priorities and make quick, good decisions

Effective problem-solving skills to analyze, find the root cause, and implement solutions to eliminate/reduce the risk of the problem occurring again.

Analytical skills to objectively examine data, recognize patterns, and make connections between seemingly unrelated ideas or concepts

Willingness to work a hybrid, in-office schedule
