The opportunity

Michelin offers an outstanding and exciting opportunity for a Business Support Analyst who will lead efforts in FyT implementation and expansion at the site level. This role involves conducting site visits, improving scan rates, and streamlining process controls, including the creation of reports for flow managers. Additionally, you will serve as the backup for the Data Flow Manager. While the position primarily involves regular business hours from Monday to Friday, occasional off-hours work may be required.

What will you do

  • Provide leadership, support, and direction to ensure the successful implementation of FyT at the site level.
  • Develop employees through mentorship programs and work closely with your team members to improve their capabilities through effective performance management.
  • Monitor the short and long-term needs of the facility to ensure succession needs are met and employees are given opportunities for development and career growth.
  • Facilitate the identification and successful implementation of process and team improvements.
  • Build and maintain reports for flow managers to ensure flawless operations.
  • Serve as the backup for the Data Flow Manager during vacations and planned absences.
  • Conduct site visits to strictly determine areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment where innovative solutions are encouraged and valued.

What will you bring

  • A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment (Monday-Friday on day shift).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively leading teams or project groups. Set clear goals, delegate tasks, provide regular feedback, mentor, and encourage a positive work environment. Military service (Junior Military Officer or Senior Non-Commission Officer) is a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills in maintaining professional interactions with internal partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis; experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully implement improvements to improve operational efficiency.
  • A positive and ambitious attitude, determined to contribute to the team’s overall success.
