Commercial Tyre Fitter – Site based, covering bus depots across Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Heathrow

Starting Salary: £28,500 + bonus scheme & benefit package

Looking for a role where you can work independently, make decisions, and build strong relationships? This isn’t your typical tyre fitter position. As a Commercial Tyre Fitter, you’ll play a vital part in keeping bus fleets safe and operational—helping protect passengers and the public while supporting sustainability and efficiency.

What will you be doing?

  • Work from bus depots across Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Heathrow.

  • Build, inspect, and maintain bus tyres, ensuring accurate and timely input of job sheets into our internal system.

  • Take ownership of your workload —understand fleet needs, set priorities, and deliver high-quality service without constant supervision.

  • Build positive relationships with depot teams and provide excellent customer service.

What are we looking for?

  • Ideally located in Hemel Hempstead,

  • Due to insurance purposes, candidates must be 21 years old and/or have had a full and valid UK drivers licence for a minimum of 2 years (a company van will be provided).

  • The right to work in the UK (please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship).

  • Good IT skills, you'll need to learn our internal system to process your job sheets and track stock.

  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage your own schedule and stock effectively.

  • Good communication and customer service skills—you’ll be representing Michelin at our customers’ sites.

  • Flexibility for early morning starts when required.

The working hours for this role is usually between 7am-3pm Monday to Friday, however some early starts will be required to ensure all vehicles have a monthly inspection whilst they are at the depot.
