Relief Commercial Tyre Fitter – Covering SE & SW London

Starting Salary £27k + bonus scheme

Looking for a role where you can work independently, make decisions, and build strong relationships? This isn’t your typical tyre fitter position. As a Relief Commercial Tyre Fitter, you’ll play a vital part in keeping bus fleets safe and operational—helping protect passengers and the public while supporting sustainability and efficiency.

What will you be doing?

• Travel to different bus depots across the SE & SW London to provide cover during team absences.

• Fit, inspect, and maintain bus tyres, ensuring accurate and timely input of job sheets into our internal system.

• Take ownership of your workload—understand fleet needs, set priorities, and deliver high-quality service without constant supervision.

• Build positive relationships with depot teams and provide excellent customer service.

What are we looking for?

• Ideally located in Croydon

• A valid full UK driving licence (a company van will be provided).

• The right to work in the UK (please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship).

• Previous experience in tyre fitting is preferred.

• Adaptability and willingness to work in different locations to cover holidays and sickness.

• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage your own schedule effectively.

• Good communication and customer service skills—you’ll be representing Michelin at our customers’ sites.

• Flexibility for early morning starts when required.
