THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the team shaping the future of logistics at U70 in Woodruff, SC — Michelin's largest and only fully automated logistics facility. Processing up to 3.5 million tires per month across more than 80 acres of covered operations
U70 is a strategic site at the forefront of automation. As we build a new maintenance organization and modernize our control systems, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a world-class facility while helping define the next level of operational excellence.
•Define and improve the standards of machines applicable to the TEC function for all areas in SMQDC
•Improve reliability and to insure equipment durability following the defined maintenance strategy including criticality (At optimum costs)
•Train and propagate knowledge and competency for maintenance actions of level 1 and level 2….
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Compliance of Machine technical documentation and of associated instructions (safety, quality, response procedures and backup, ...)
• Maintenance instructions (setting, commissioning, adjustment, calibration, etc.) carried out and applied
• Existence and relevance of technical analysis, maintenance plans, and obsolescence plans
• Efficiency of assistance interventions (responses to the demands of operational maintenance on breakdowns and corrective action plan to avoid recurring problems)
• Technical parameters under control (Machine technical parameters for the Process -MTP)
• PDR list (definition, adaptation, optimization, cancellation)
• Improved TRS (machine availability, reliability, performance improvement)
• Lower maintenance costs (troubleshooting and preventive workload,... )
• Improvement of maintenance skills (tutoring, coaching, training materials, assistive devices for maintenance, 'one-point lessons' ...)
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 2-5 years of experience in a highly automated distribution center environment
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Technical certification, or equivalent experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical machinery
