Job Summary

Michelin Fleet Solutions leases tires to fleet customers. We provide services and expertise for these fleets while managing the inventory for them. The account manager is assigned to a specific geographic area to balance multiple fleets.

Mission

Implement and monitor the service provider network in alignment with the company vision

Ensure the quality of the technical services at the provider through continuous improvement, standardization, and auditing.

Responsibilities

The account manager will be solely responsible for managing several fleet accounts at varying levels of complexity, working with our internal personnel to ensure accuracy of data received (including tire activities, tire and vehicle inspections, tire disposals and reception of new inventory). They build and maintain strong partnerships with the service provider and the transit to maintain good working relationships and ensure the profitability of the business.

  • Provides macro estimation of the planned delivery
  • Ensures consistency and facilitates collaboration across functions for specific service at strategic horizon
  • Provides input on how to improve the customer/partner/employee satisfaction to guaranty the best experience
  • Enable the team to achieve the collective objectives
  • Provide an environment allowing continuous progress and innovation
  • Ensure the Promise to the Customer is respected throughout the operational process and initiates improvement to realign if needed
  • Lead the flow of day-to-day operations

Team support & development:

  • Provide guidance on how to best anticipates and handles operational issues
  • Lead team discussion and problem solving for issues that arise within the scope of the team's responsibilities
  • Provide training to enhance team member’s competencies and their professional development and careers

Requirements

  • Must be a fast learner, analytical, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, unafraid to challenge the status quo, a problem solver, familiar with basic tire knowledge and at ease with the use of technology.
