THE OPPORTUNITY

Michelin has an immediate opening for an IT Support Analyst. In this role the ideal candidate will be very responsive to internal customers ensuring the availability of IT systems within the facility so that all departments have access to the information and tools that they need to effectively perform their responsibilities. WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Lead IT project management while ensuring service level and user satisfaction
  • Provide site layer 1 IT telephony infrastructure management and audiovisual (AV) management
  • Provide support for site IT network access layer Management
  • Provide leadership for BT network Switch modifications
  • Act as primary interface between Information Systems (IS) and application’s business power users/owners.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • IT project management experience.
  • Prior experience in supporting Information Systems (IS) operations in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to provide on-call support or deployment work outside of normal work hours and weekends, as needed.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with others to gather requirements and translate them into relevant functional specifications.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to analyze, find the root cause, and implement solutions to eliminate/reduce the risk of the problem happening again.
  • Effective analytical skills to objectively examine data, recognize patterns, and make connections between seemingly unrelated ideas or concepts.
  • Demonstrated daily agile and lean practices.
  • Proven attention to detail and data accuracy in previous work.
