Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety of personnel and environmental protection by adhering to safety regulations and legal requirements. Guarantee equipment conformity with standards and internal/external regulations.

  • People Management: Manage a team of Maintenance Supervisors and Method Techs (5-10), with indirect oversight of all 24 employees in the Maintenance department

  • Maintenance Plan Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the long-term and sustainable maintenance plans.

  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the overall maintenance performance, including equipment availability, cost, reliability, and effectiveness.

  • Equipment Durability: Implement plans to ensure the durability of equipment through proactive maintenance strategies.

  • Maintenance Strategy: Define and apply maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives, actively involving personnel in shared goals. Identify and propose process, method, and organizational improvements.

  • Adoption of Maintenance Management Systems: Implement and utilize maintenance management tools and methodologies within assigned areas of responsibility.

  • Competency Assurance: Develop and maintain a succession plan and skill diagnosis to guarantee the competency of maintenance personnel. Regularly update training plans to align with evolving needs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive organizational, methodological, and technical improvements in maintenance processes. Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice exchanges within the business network, including participation in RTA network meetings and engagement with external partners.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years maintenance in industrial setting required
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in maintenance required
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental protection standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in maintenance planning and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams towards shared objectives.
  • Experience in implementing and utilizing maintenance management systems.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
