MISSION :

Build and develop a long-term partnership with defined suppliers & business entities from the contracting phase and through the contract life cycles

(1) Contract and supplier review:

  • Monitor operational and financial performance of the contract (incl. KPI defined) and identify optimization levers.
  • Implement and coordinate the right governance structures of the contract: organize, animate, and coordinate formal and regular performance reviews/ governance meetings with the business and the supplier.
  • Develop and monitor progress plan with suppliers when applicable.
  • Ensure that both parties meet their contractual obligations and ensure that, at Michelin, all parties involved in the contract understand and respect the uses of the contract (particularly in the regions/affiliates for group contracts)
  • Is the first and key contact point both for internal and external for its existing contracts
  • Coordinate first level of escalations and/or handling contractual disputes with various stakeholder (Business, Legal, Purchasing, Management team)

(2) Contractualization, amendments, renewal or termination:

  • Lead renewals or amendments that generate low changes to contract structure and/or to financial conditions
  • Conduct regular analysis to verify the relevance and validity of the contract and implement changes, if necessary, with a specific focus on: Contract services or product specifications alignment with business need ; Contract alignment with group security rules, legal recommendations and Michelin regulations, rules & standards; Business continuity plans
  • Support contract termination according to the specific termination conditions"

(3) Establish new contracts:

  • Contribute to the sourcing process: gather the business needs and ensure that specifications are complete and relevant.
  • Detail financial and pricing analysis in support of the decision making process
  • Collaborate with negotiation team to the negotiation of the contract and provide inputs on specifications topics
  • Contribute to the definition of operational & financial KPI and ensure it could be monitored.
  • Ensure the commitments of internal actors/users.
  • Ensure that local contract applications and their implementations are aligned with the terms of the global contract when relevant

(4) Deploy the contract at the right level (group or local):

  • Support contract deployment in collaboration with the support of all stakeholders
  • Evaluate the added value of the contract for the Michelin entity/affiliate and explain this value to the Michelin entities/affiliates.
  • Support the deployment and use of the contract in the Michelin entities/affiliates.
  • Support the operational implementation of the contract in collaboration with all stakeholders (incl. qualification process: from supplier creation, catalog definition when relevant, PO to payment of the first invoice)

(5) Build and monitor financial forecast on its contract portfolio

  • Provide financial forecasts on their scope to relevant stakeholders according to defined deadlines and schedule (incl. internal charge back information when relevant)
  • Follow up of upstream savings within requested deadline (RMAT specificity)

(7) Other

  • Ensure data quality management.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.

  • 7–10 years of experience in Export/Import, Freight forwarding , Ocean freight procurement, Carrier management

  • Managing relationships with global shipping carriers

  • Experience with international trade and Incoterms.

  • Strong Problem-solving, Communication, Cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in English
