MISSION

Manage the teams of his responsibility in order to deliver the equipment and evolutions of equipment necessary to the realization of the industrial projects of the company.
Guarantor of the skills development for his team and the respect of the rules of the art of his job.
Guarantor of the quality of the response to the commitments made by the team in coherence with the entity ambitions.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete duties within required time frames.
  • Define the scope of technical projects.
  • Lead a team of Process Technicians in their day to day activities that supports the production needs as well as the goals of the business.  
  • Lead improvement projects based on the improvement of Quality, Productivity and Cost.
  • Establish molding process parameters for new products or new technologies being developed.
  • Monitor cost savings for all BOM optimization or rubber usage reductions.
  • Support the production start-up of new products.
  • Manage and execute the production of prototypes to build a repetitive product.
  • Coordinate prototyping activities for process technicians. Establish priorities with planning. 
  • Elaborate new procedures and molding parameters for the development of new technologies (product, material and/or process).
  • Process cycle time optimization.
  • Collaborate with the material and product development team to insure manufacturability of the product.
  • Manage the execution and/or deployment of the required tests to qualify processes; Lead problem solving efforts related to conception or production problems; Follow the development process of new technologies.
  • Manage integrity to prototype building process to insure that each and every track successfully passes through the established gate process.
  • Gage R&R studies will have to be done on each process and product that is in the design stage before being released into production.
  • Instruct operators in processes and methods as necessary to achieve the company’s standards of quality, performance and safety.
  • Act as the expert as necessary with customers and/or R&D for product development or quality issues.
  • Keep Technical Engineering Manager and QA/Engineering Manager informed of any process-related problems, concerns or questions.
  • Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Mentor and support the continuous development of team members.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
