THE OPPORTUNITY
Michelin has an immediate opening in for a Spare Parts Store Manager who will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts to ensure availability, optimize inventory costs and high level of customer service level. Michelin’s purpose is to support everyone’s right to move freely to find their better way forward. This role applies established standards and protocols in safety, inventory reception and issuance, rotation, reporting, item organization, and aligns with maintenance requirements. WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Optimize spare parts inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with high customer service standards.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts for crucial machines and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain full compliance with local regulations and internal operational practices.
- Guarantee high-quality storage conditions for all parts to preserve integrity and usability.
- Manage group-shared spare parts in alignment with central platform requirements and standards.
- Implement and uphold procedures for managing repairable spare parts effectively and consistently.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, project management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Professional interpersonal skills to collaborate confidently with external partners, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of setting and achieving objectives with minimal supervision.
- Proven team collaboration, demonstrating success in working with others to accomplish shared goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining high data accuracy in previous roles.
