THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an immediate opening in Greenville, South Carolina for a Tire Uniformity/Quality Coordinator. You will be responsible for leading and sustaining the Uniformity approach within your scope of responsibility. The Quality Coordinator ensures consistent implementation, verification, and ongoing improvement of consistency practices, while aiding in product and process adjustments to reduce quality impacts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define and implement a strategic roadmap for Uniformity aligned with operational goals.
- Coordinate deployment plans and monitor execution across departments.
- Establish and manage performance indicators (e.g., IRF4, material loss, customer returns).
- Lead crisis management efforts by analyzing performance drifts and initiating corrective actions.
- Assist in the launch of new products and processes by recognizing and addressing Uniformity risks.
- Maintain and promote documentation and guidelines for Uniformity.
- Train and mentor technicians and collaborators on Uniformity principles.
- Lead progress projects and contribute innovative ideas to improve tools and methods.
- Facilitate cross-functional teamwork and reporting within the Uniformity network.
- Adjust strategies for consistency to adapt to evolving digital systems and organizational changes.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw logical conclusions and anticipate obstacles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated capability to lead projects and coordinate with various collaborators.
- Experience in quality planning, process control, and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality protocols.
- Capability to acquire new digital systems and data tools seamlessly.
- A proactive approach emphasizing continuous improvement and innovation.
- Technical expertise in manufacturing or process engineering is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field or equivalent experience.
